Solo is perhaps Norway's most famous brand. Solo was established way back in 1934, and has been a constant companion through many Norwegians' childhood - and still is.
The recipe for Solo originally comes from Spain: Solo's "father", Torleif Gulliksrud, took the recipe to Tønsberg, and not long after, the refreshing orange drink was available in the shops. Solo quickly became the country's most popular drink, and until the 60s it was larger than Coca-Cola in Norway.
